Prepare VaalHub for your next session

Follow the environment and launcher steps in order. Keep your personal configuration outside shared or temporary folders.

Before you begin

Prepare a standard Windows user — Launch PoE2 with a standard user and do not grant that user administrator privileges.
Isolate tool directory permissions — Keep the tool directory isolated from the game launch user and restrict read, write, modify, and execute permissions as instructed.
Launch PoE2 with the shortcut — Create and pin the launch shortcut, then use it as the consistent entry point for the international client.
Extract and run Launcher.exe — Extract the VaalHub package, enter the folder, and run Launcher.exe.
Run Launcher and check for updates — Extract the package and run Launcher.exe. The launcher checks and retrieves updates automatically.
